I saw mommy read for Santa Claus
Underneath the crystal ball last night.
She shuffled and cut the deck,
I could tell he was a wreck.
He worried if his sleigh would fly
A way up in the sky.
He wants to deliver so many toys
To all the good deserving girls and boys.
She drew the Chariot card,
And knew it wouldn’t be hard,
And when she drew the shining Star,
He knew his sleigh would take him far.
Yes, I saw mommy read for Santa Claus last night!
